Terms of Service

In short: be 13 or older, follow the rules, and know that purchases are final once delivered and progress may be reset during the alpha. Credits you buy and ranks you redeemed are kept.

    About these terms

    GalaxyBoxZ is a Minecraft server run by Hiramachi ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Minecraft server, this website, our Discord server and the store. By joining, using the website or buying anything, you agree to them.

    We are not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft. Your use of Minecraft is also covered by the Minecraft EULA. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

    Who can play

    You must be at least 13 years old to play or to join our Discord.

    If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian before buying anything. Parents and guardians are responsible for purchases made by their children.

  3. 03

    Your account

    You are responsible for your Minecraft and Discord accounts and for everything done with them on our server. Do not share them. We act on the account a rule break or purchase came from, even if someone else was using it.

  4. 04

    Rules and conduct

    Follow the rules posted in-game and on our Discord. In particular, you may not:

    • use hacked clients, cheats, macros or mods that give an unfair advantage;
    • exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
    • harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or share hateful or sexual content;
    • share anyone's personal information;
    • scam players, or buy or sell accounts or in-game items for real money outside our store;
    • advertise other servers, or evade a punishment with another account.

    Staff may warn, mute, jail, kick or ban players who break the rules, for a set time or permanently, depending on how serious it is.

    Closed alpha and progress resets

    GalaxyBoxZ is in closed alpha. Features, balance and content will change, bugs will happen and the server may be offline for maintenance.

    While in alpha, progress may be reset ("wiped"): levels, items, balances and worlds can go back to zero. Credits you bought and ranks you redeemed with them are kept across resets.

    Credits

    Credits are the virtual currency sold in our store and spent in-game with /store on ranks, boosters and keys. When you buy Credits, you get a license to use them on our server. You do not own them, and:

    • they have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money;
    • they cannot be transferred, sold or traded, except by buying them as a gift at checkout;
    • they do not expire while the server is running;
    • the Credit cost of items in-game may change over time.
  7. 07

    Purchases and payment

    Payments are processed by Tebex, who act as the merchant of record: they take the payment, handle taxes and issue receipts. Their checkout terms also apply to your purchase.

    Purchases are delivered to the Minecraft username entered at checkout, usually within 5 minutes. Check the spelling before paying. If you entered the wrong name, contact us and we will try to help, but we cannot guarantee a transfer.

  8. 08

    Refunds and chargebacks

    Credits are delivered immediately. By completing a purchase you ask for immediate delivery, and purchases are final once delivered. We will still sort things out if something did not arrive or you were charged twice. Contact us first; most problems are fixed quickly.

    If you open a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first, we may suspend the account involved and remove what was bought while the dispute is open.

    Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

  9. 09

    Bans and your purchases

    Bans are only issued for breaking the rules. If you are banned, temporarily or permanently, you will not be refunded. Your purchases stay tied to your account and become usable again when a temporary ban ends.

  10. 10

    Service availability

    We work to keep GalaxyBoxZ running long term, but the server is provided "as is", without guarantees of uptime or that it will run forever. We may change, pause or end the server or any feature.

    If we decide to close the server, we will announce it in our Discord at least 30 days in advance when possible. Unused Credits are not refunded on closure, except where the law requires it.

  11. 11

    Content and intellectual property

    The GalaxyBoxZ name, logo, textures, models, builds and scripts belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Minecraft belongs to Mojang AB.

    Messages you send in chat may be shown to other players, relayed between the game and our Discord, and reviewed by staff for moderation.

  12. 12

    Limitation of liability

    To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost progress, lost items or lost time. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

  13. 13

    Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change, and important changes are announced in our Discord. If you keep playing or buying after a change, you accept the new terms.
